Tonight we have a 16-Man Tournament for the BFW World Heavyweight Title in our debut event.
Jeff Jarrett def. Chris Jericho (14:22) via The Stroke.
Kane def. Lance Storm (4:41) via a flying lariat.
Lance Storm loses very quickly here, and throws a tantrum after this match.
Mr. Kennedy def. Scott Steiner (12:33) via a flying somersault senton.
Steiner looked good here. He could be back on form very soon.
Edge def. Batista (10:12) via the Spear.
Edge's tag partner Randy Orton made his presence known, allowing Edge to nail Batista with a chair while Orton distracted the referee.
Shawn Michaels def. Ric Flair (9:22)
This wasn't a good match as everyone had thought, but HBK still advances.
Randy Orton def. The British Bulldog (14:04) via the RKO.
Edge returned the favor, allowing his tag partner to secure a spot in the next round.
The Big Show def. Death Angel (15:49) via the Showstopper.
Death Angel was no match for the mass of The Big Show.
Diamond Dallas Page def. CM Punk (12:04) via the Diamond Cutter.
Experience beat out straight edge here.
2nd Round
Jeff Jarrett def. Kane (5:59) via the Stroke.
Everyone was shocked at how quickly Kane went down, but shock doesn't get you further in the BFW.
Edge def. Mr. Kennedy (7:38) via Countout
As Edge and Kennedy fought, they struck a deal. Kennedy walked out, allowing Edge to get a countout victory.
Randy Orton def. Shawn Michaels (1:41) via Countout.
Michaels went down early with what appeared to be a knee injury, but walked out under his own power.
Diamond Dallas Page def. The Big Show (7:23) via a fist to the midsection.
Big Show went down like a big redwood tree, allowing DDP get the pin.
3rd Round
Jeff Jarrett def. Edge (4:20) via a guitar shot.
Jarrett had the upper hand, and didn't let Rated RKO eliminate him.
Diamond Dallas Page def. Randy Orton (7:48) via the Diamond Cutter.
In the match of the Front-Face DDT's, DDP countered the RKO, and put Orton down, completetly eliminating Rated RKO.
Final
For the BFW World Heavyweight Title
Jeff Jarrett def. Diamond Dallas Page (3:41) via a gutwrench suplex.
Jarrett took advantage of a tired Page, and came out victorious.
Jeff Jarrett is the new BFW World Heavyweight Champion, and held the belt up high to a stunned crowd here in Italy.
NOTES:
A decent first show. Our next show will emanate from Torino, Italy. We'll have a rematch from tonight's tournament final, and it will be for the BFW World Title.
